Overview:The Head of the British Curriculum Program is responsible for the overall management, operation, and development of the British Curriculum Program at the international high school, ensuring its high-quality implementation in alignment with the school’s educational goals and values. This role requires providing academic leadership, curriculum management, teacher team building, and student support to ensure students achieve excellence in academics, personal development, and university placement.Key Responsibilities:1.Program Management and Leadership: 1)Oversee the planning, implementation, and ****uation of the British Curriculum Program, ensuring it aligns with the school’s educational ****ives and international standards. 2)Develop and execute the program’s development strategy to ensure continuous improvement and innovation. 3)Supervise the daily operations of the program, ensuring high standards of teaching quality and student experience.2.Curriculum and Teaching Management: 1)Lead curriculum development and optimization to ensure alignment with British curriculum systems (e.g., A-Level, IGCSE). 2)Monitor the implementation of teaching plans to ensure progress and quality meet expected goals. 3)Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance curriculum diversity and integration.3.Teacher Team Building and Management: 1)Manage the recruitment, training, ****uation, and development of teachers within the British Curriculum Program, building an efficient and professional teaching team. 2)Provide teaching guidance and support to teachers, fostering innovation in teaching methods and improving teaching quality. 3)Organize regular teaching seminars and training sessions to share best practices and enhance team performance.4.Student Support and Development: 1)Monitor students’ academic progress, providing personalized academic guidance and university placement support. 2)Establish student assessment and feedback mechanisms to ensure comprehensive support for students’ academic and personal development. 3)Encourage student participation in international competitions, academic activities, and extracurricular programs to enhance their overall competencies and competitiveness.5.University Placement and Collaboration: 1)Oversee university placement guidance, maintaining close contact with university admissions officers to provide accurate information and resources to students. 2)Organize university admission seminars, campus visits, and other activities to help students explore opportunities and make informed decisions. 3)Establish and maintain partnerships with renowned domestic and international universities to improve students’ university placement success rates.6.Communication and Stakeholder Management: 1)Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on students’ academic and personal development progress. 2)Collaborate with school management, other departments, and external partners to ensure the smooth operation of the program. 3)Represent the British Curriculum Program at school events, parent meetings, and external conferences to showcase achievements and enhance the program’s reputation.7.Quality Assurance and ****uation: 1)Establish program ****uation mechanisms, regularly collecting and analyzing feedback from students, teachers, and parents to drive continuous improvement. 2)Ensure the program complies with school policies, external accreditation requirements, and relevant laws and regulations.21)Prepare annual program reports, summarizing achievements and proposing future development plans.8.Other Responsibilities: 1)Complete other tasks assigned by school leadership and actively participate in the school’s overall development and activities. 2)Represent the school at external meetings or events when necessary to enhance the school’s reputation and influence.Qualifications:1. A master’s degree or higher in Education, Management, or a related field.2. At least 5 years of teaching or management experience in an international high school, with familiarity with British curriculum systems (e.g., A-Level, IGCSE).3. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.4. Excellent English proficiency, capable of teaching and managing in English.5. Deep understanding of international education, with innovative thinking and strategic planning abilities.6. Passionate about education, committed to students’ holistic development and academic success.

深圳国际预科学院于2004年6月经深圳市教育局批准成立,是深圳一所老牌美式国际学校。在美国,很多私立名校和学术性中学都会冠名为大学预科学校Preparatory Academy,意即未来直升名牌大学,以此区别普通的美国中学。学院坐落在深圳湾畔,毗邻园博园,环境优美、交通便利。多年来,学院一直致力于培养身心健康、人格完美、思想独立、意志坚韧,具有家国情怀、国际视野的现代公民。
2004年,学院的首批办学项目学士预科和硕士预科开始招生,十余年来已成功输送数千人前往英国、美国、澳大利亚、加拿大、欧洲等国际知名大学攻读本科、硕士课程,包括美国哥伦比亚大学、康奈尔大学、波士顿学院、华盛顿大学、南加州大学、纽约视觉艺术学院等;英国伦敦政治经济学院、杜伦大学,澳洲国立大学、悉尼大学;以及加拿大多伦多大学、西蒙菲莎大学等,其中数百人次获得海外大学全额或部分奖学金。
2010年,学院又踏上新的征程,创办了深圳首家美国中学,引入美国共同教育大纲(CCSS)课程体系,开设四年制美国高中部。并针对中国学生增强了托福、SAT、ACT标准化考试学习,同时引进了多门美国大学理事会考试体系中的AP课程,在深圳首创先河。
2013年,学院美国初中部正式招收了首批7—8年级学生。美国初中部课程与美国高中部一样,沿循Common Core课程大纲,引进国外原版授权课程和教材,让学生留学美国前就能体验国外中学学习及生活,出国后更快适应国外课堂。同时,学校为了解决学生赴美读书初期常见的不适应,充分结合中国学生实际情况,通过游戏、演讲、辩论、角色扮演等各种方法,寓教于乐,让学生扫除对英语的听说障碍,能听懂国外课程,掌握美国生存和生活的基本英语表达,敢于表现自我,快速融入美国社会。2014年,开设了美国初中预备班6年级,为升读美国初中部提前做好各方面的准备。
